Impossible is nothing!!

ERK-Uppsala 19-13!!! We god damn won the first semi-final match. Yeeeaaah!! We are so happy right now. It was a tight game and we were pretty nervous at the start. It's hard to play home game against the "big favorite" as all the tabloids said before the match. Well after a rocky start we got our shit together and played a pretty good game. We have a good game plan (which I can't tell you yet in case there is Uppsala players reading this) and it seemed to work for our benefit. We can defenetly play better than today and it's a good feeling actually. Why it is a good feeling.. 'Cause it means we were able to win today without been stretched to our limits.

Uppsala players are strong and big but they got tired after first 20 minutes or so. We instead are fit as hell and that showed today. We can play full 80 minutes and as I have said before, in womens rugby, fitness is one of the most important things. You can win with basic skills and simple game plan if you are fit enought! I'm so inspired of all this running stuff that we do here at every training that I'm bringing it all home. Can't wait for the off season and running with my beloved JRC ladies back home.. Upp the hills and cross the pitches we will go :)

Next week we play in Uppsala, the second semi match. Game will, for sure, be rougher. It's their home ground and nobody wants to loose in front of ones friends and families. And up for grabs is the spot in the finals.. I wouldn't call this first game a win, it's only six points lead so I call it a Bitch Slap. It's like someone strong attacks you and you give the attacker a bitch slap right to her face. What happens.. she might be confused for a second but then.. then she usually gets really really pissed! So we are looking for a pure rage coming from Uppsala next week. If we can take the first 20 minutes of fury, I think we can take the game.. We shall see.

After todays match I stopped by in a Supermarket. Several people came to talk to me, just random people. They had seen our game and they came to congratulate and just talk about the match. It was so nice, people in Enköping actually care about us, they watch our games and they cheer for us. It's pretty humbling experience I would say. It's the same with the club. Hole staff is always in our games taking care of us and cheering. All of them. And even more amazing,  our manager, physio, psysical trainer, and some other helpers come to watch our every training, every single one. Raining or not.. You want to do your best every time not just for you or for your team, but also for these other people and this club. This club that I love so much.

Miss ya all back home, see you in some weeks
